are all them getting worse? is it me getting better? i just don’t know. you just don’t know. i know, i’m the only one that does know
i thought getting a new router was unnecessary because when you get the internet your ISP sends you one. routers, so i thought, weren’t something that you need to go and pick up anymore. i was wrong
when broadband first came out, i was frothin at 35kb/s. many of you will never know what it was like for us in the dark ages of the 56k dial up modem. but all we had were this shitty ADSL modem so i went out and i got a shiny white netgear thing with a packet switch and for the first generations of wifi card good old honest 802.11g. both of us had full signal, but my dad would unplug all of it when he got in from work in favour of this modem / and i would end up with my friends from new zealand who were the only people you could find at 5 o’clock in the morning
music was probably the main reason why download speed meant so much to me. spotify didn’t exist yet and i was still at high school. mobile phones had only just come out. thank fuck for the way things are now, with fibre to the premises which has just slapped 2770 tunes / 159h 32m of continuous playback in less than ten minutes, all in lovely lovely lossless. well … not all of them
yeah i suppose i am an easy target. when i’m tolerating, it doesn’t mean “come on, be a cunt even more” … or maybe you just don’t need an excuse anymore
targets you might not have realised even out there in the world, now those are easy to hit for me. all it really took was a bit of self discipline and it properly paid off. now i’m firing one off at the impossible
never bufferin again; trust.
