Weapons. Weapons on television. Weapons of war. Got to use them somewhere. Hey, where are our weapons? What means do we have to defend ourselves?

Just before my eighteenth birthday, I got to fire a weapon. It was the colt single action cowboy. We were at a shooting range and catch some gun-nut who has an entire arsenal in the boot of his car. “Go back to Britain, find Tony Blair and go and get your guns back!”

It is now 4.48 and Zelensky is talking shit on a BBC interview. I don’t need to be bilingual to recognise that someone’s talking absolute shit. He has only one army because he conscripted anyone who was eighteen to thirty and gave them a gun and forbid them from leaving Ukraine. Look at his reaction, it’s fake. Body language, fake. Making him look like he’s John Connor and Russia are coming for him

Something very terrible happened recently that should have stopped this escalation of war in its tracks already. This thing that happened was the death of Mikhail Gorbachev. Much of Europe still exists because of that man – a Russian president – and the KGB, and hundreds of thousands of people, the miners, the workers, the firemen first on scene, whose clothes are even to this day highly radioactive

What happened in the 26th April, 1986 was unfathomable. There had never been danger from radiation that was so high in all of history. At the top, Gorbachev. He came with Hans Blix (the head of the international atomic energy agency)

He called for help and that help came. That help came from Russia. That help came from Belarus. That help came from Ukraine.

What is happening now? Ukraine is winning, there is a cost of living, and energy, emergency and it’s all eyes on Vladimir Putin. Hans Blix is gone and Gorbachev is now at rest. These two people are now more needed on the ineternational stage. They saw first hand the skin peeling off the nineteen year old conscripts who were sent in to fight an unseen enemy, and gave it all the welly that the union could muster

Good for them… the people over 18 who didn’t quite make it when the entire population of Ukraine got the fuck out of there as soon as their little legs could carry them. They’re now heroes. No, if they were heroes, they would have chosen to stay there. Real heroes stay there of their own accord. Real heroes aren’t given a choice, they make their own. Real heroes don’t threaten people or stop them from leaving their home, but rather stay of their own accord

Mr. Gorbachev; glasnost! One side of the world is armed to the teeth, as the other side of the world peer into the eyes of themselves through the looking glass. What’s stopping them now? The nuclear option. Operation castle exposed to mortal flesh. It’s a mirror – one atrocity on the west, and now the sun is rising in the east

If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you go and look. If you haven’t felt it then good; because it’s the kind of thing you only get to witness just one time, and we haven’t got John Connor – we’ve got Zelensky. “More weapons, more anti-tank anti-aircraft anti-personnel!” he doesn’t give a fuck about you, or anyone else. More weapons, more money, more POWER

One could place a mirror in between what Russia and NATO are doing, dead centre. And in annihilation, symmetry. And in equal measure on both sides of the glass, death

Whatever side you’re on, whomever you think is going to “win,” then think again. Once we become a legitimate target, either would rather do that than sit down and talk about the agreements which were both signed. Win, my ass. The only winner is going to be death. The only losers of it all… us.
